Someone told me that he married in Wayne Co. IL to Margaret Halbert. This is where I'm confused. They said their son John E. Taylor married in Hamilton Co. IL to Sarah Catherine Acord. Does anyone have information on this? This John is MY John Taylor and I have been searching for years to find his family. However, on the 1880 Hamilton CO. IL census for John and his wife Sarah Catherine it's listed that John's parents were born in TENNESSEE. And when John married Sarah he married her in Hamilton CO. IL at her parents home and his mother gave her permission for the marriage to take place because John was underage. Sadly the name of his mother giving the permission for him to marry was not recorded by the Justice. Anything, anyone could share in regard to Isaac and his family would very much be appreciated.
