The Troxel family lived in Sangamon County between 1840 and 1856. Their son Charles P. Troxel married a Rebecca C. Hinds. I believe her sister was Sarah Shannon. Rebecca's family lived in Minnesota, in either Brown County, McLoed or Wright County. At one time I had a census record showing their name. I have information on Rebecca's decendants. I welcome any correspondence.
