Some of the Burns family had evidently lived in this area from very early times, for it was almost 50 years later that they organized the Buffalo Hart Grove Primitive Baptist church. For the sake of anyone who might be studying this, all of the members who organized this church, had been members of the Lake Fork PBC south of Mt. Pulaski, which dated back to 1827, and which evidently was one of the closest churches of the same faith to where they lived until they organized the church at Buffalo Hart.
