Dave, This sheds a bright ray of light on what has been a nightmare for me. Two years ago I obtained this deed, and somehow was told it was in Cotton Hill township. The more I dug the less that seemed to add up with the facts of where people were. I have a red face, and owe everyone an apology for what I have posted about the Springfield Baptist church which was organized either between 1824-1827, or earlier, if this is true. Rather than make another mistake, I will try to determine this location precisely in Springfield township and then come back and correct myself. This time I will try to have all the pieces and correct information before I say too much. You have helped me clear up what would have been a big mistake, if it had not been caught, and I do thank you.
