Norma Jean (Krohe) Wilkinson who was a board member, past president, secretary, and chairperson of the cemetery committee for over fifteen years passed away yesterday. She along with Shirley Fuhrmann collected information, read stones and gathered information from local newspapers and caretakers of over two-thirds of the cemeteries in Sangamon County. Both ladies have now passed on to their reward and will be sorely missed. Norma's wake is Monday night from 5 until 7 at the Vancil Memorial Chapel on South Grand Ave. in Springfield.
