Settled in Banner, Il and had 5 kids by 1850 census. Does anyone have copy of 1840 census to show Lee and Lewis families in Sangamon Co. According to Civil War papers Joseph was born in Canandaigua, N.Y. in 1814 and Dorcas was born in Ohio around 1820. How did they get to Sangamon Co and who were their parents?
