I am asking for anyone who can help locate information on my grandfather: Lee Raymond Barton.He was married to my grandmother : Bernadette Girard/Barton.My mother was born to this union and her name is Donna Lee Barton. The story my grandmother gave was that he was killed by a truck in auburn California shortly after my moms birth.I however do not believe this because i can find no records of him there.He was born in Springfield Ill.,according to my moms birth cert.,but i can get no info. there either because i do not know his parents names. I don't want anything from his family .I just want to be able to tell my kids where their roots come from.ANY help that you can give me I would be eternally greatful for. Thanks, Mickey Harper
