Hello. I am new to the Sangamon County, Illinois mailing list. I am trying to search for the record of the marriage of my great-great-great grandparents, William Henry FERDON and Martha A. REDMAN, which I think happened in Springfield or other area of the county about 1839 or 1840. William Henry was from New York, and Martha was from Mount Sterling, Kentucky. Their first child, Richard was born about 1840 or 1841 in Springfield. My great-great grandmother was their last child, Margaret, born November 11, 1848. All of the four children were born in Springfield, but they moved to Woodburn, Macoupin County, in 1858. Pat Hansen
