Hello List, Would someone please look up in the 1860 Sangamon County Census Jacob J. Brown and Emily Ralston. In the 1850 census Jacob J. Brown 25,was living with his widowed mother 63 at dwelling #1397/1397. Emily age 18 was living with her parents at dwelling #1400/1400. The couple married after the census was taken in 1850. The Powers book says they were the parents of seven children. I would like to know the names and birth information on these children. It might have been by 1870 that all seven were born.
