My grandfather Edward E. McConnell obtained his U.S. Citizenship at Springfield, Illinois in 1863. Entire Family moved to Coffeyville, Kansas late 1860s or early 1870s and lived there until the mid 1890s. Operated two businesses in Coffeyville, KS. McConnell Brothers and The Star Mills. Other family members George McConnell, Arthur McConnell, James McConnell and William McConnell, John McConnell.
