The Sangamon County Genealogical Society will hold its monthly meeting on 8 November 2004 at 7:00pm in the Carnigee Room South at Springfield's Public Library the Lincoln Library, downtown Springfield. Our speaker for the evening will be Katheryn Harris who is head of the reference collection of the new Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library formerly the Illinois State Historical Library. Ms. Harris will introduce us to the various new features of the library. Our meetings are open to the public and are held the second Monday of each month.
