That made no sense to me because I believed they stayed in ILL. Her husband died and I believe she married BERNARD DONNELLY but don't know when or where. In 1900 she had Gladys Machette living with them. She was a niece age 13. 1900 ILL-Peoria-2WD-Peoria. Sarah's Mother ANNA NYE died Sept. 15,1883. In the Kansas City Morning Times, it said she was at the home of her son-in-law, Bernard Donnelly. The funeral would take place at their residence, 803 Locust Street and it was Private. Only friends & acquaintances of family invited. The services at the First Presbyterian Church, Grand Ave near Eleventh Street. The pastor was, Mr. D.M.SCHAFF. Is the 803 Locust St. address and the Church address in ILL? I also have a Sarah ANN DonnAlly as dyeing in 1923. F/W unk 0480052 1923-03-04. I have the NYE family back in about 1854 or a little later living in Springfield. These are just bits and pieces that I had from different sources and I put them together but this is ALL I can fine. I would like to get other census, city directory, or any other documented information I can before I send for the certs. I have no idea when Bernard died or if they had any children.
