The information below came from an obituary for Lydia Catherine SKEEN DAVENPORT. She was born November 23, 1849 the daughter of James and Lydia A. (Moore) Skeen. She married John DAVENPORT October 30, 1870. Children: Clara D. Davenport Schuman, Catherine Davenport, Jessie Davenport and Georgia Davenport. DAVENPORT, MRS. LYDIA C. - of 1118 South Thirteen Street, died early Sunday, December 31, 1939 at the residence, age 90 years. Survived by two daughters, Mrs. Clara Schuman, Springfield; Mrs. Jesse Tinch, Decatur; four grandsons, two great-grandsons and one great great grandson. Does anyone know anything about this family. I would love to add this branch to my family tree. Thanks for any help.
