She married William Austin RAYNER born March 04, 1873, Fayette Co., IL died May 29, 1965, Techumseh, Pottowatomie Co., OK Children: Marvin William George all born Indian Territory Rosia I believe her father to be William Sandfur Civil War Soilder. OBIT for Dora Lee SANDFUR / RAYNER from Oklahoma Historical Society Rayner Services Held In Tecumseh Church Services for Mrs. Dora Lee Rayner, 86, 413 S. Minnesota, Shawnee, who died Monday, were held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Tecumseh Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jack Richey, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Tecumseh Cemetery. Born Dec. 31, 1878, at Springfield, Ill, Mrs. Rayner was 70 year resident of Oklahoma. She was a member of Tecumseh Free Will Baptist Church. Her husband W. A. Rayner, preceded her in death May 29, 1965. Mrs. Rayner is survivied by two daughters, Mrs. Rosia Harrell, Oklahoma City, and Mrs. Jessie Mae Drummond, Shawnee; two sons, George and Marvin, Rialto, Calif., one sister, Mrs. Lula Cluck, Shawnee; two bother, Charlie Sandfur, Davis and Allen Sandfur, Tecumseh; 12 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Bearers were Harold Ray, Tom Sandfur, Reginald Bates, Francis Brooks, Floyd Harrell and O. C. Harrell. Cooper's Funeral Home, Tecumseh, was in charge of arrangements. OBIT for William Austin RAYNER Oklahoma Historical Society william Austin RAYNER, 92, resident of Pottawatomie County for 70 years. died Saturday afternoon at 12:35 in a Norman hospital following a two - week illness. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Jackie Richie and Rev. Arthur Downs officiating. Burial will be in Tecumseh Cemetery. Rayner a retired farmer, who lived at 413 S. Minnesota, was born March 4, 1873 in Illinois, and was a memer of the Freewill Baptist Church. He moved to Oklahoma as a small child. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dora Lee Rayner, of the home, two daughters, Mrs. Rosia Harrell, Okla. city, Mrs. Jessie Mae Drummond, Shawnee; two sons, George Rayner and Marvin, Rayner, both of Rialto, Calif; one niece, Gertrude Rayner, Okemah; 12 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren. Cooper Funeral Home in Tecumseh is in charge of arrangements. I believe William Austin Rayner's parents were: George B. RAYNER b. Canada/England m. August 23, 1864 Fayette Co., IL to Martha A. BANKSON dau. of Marshal H. BANKSON & Rebecca HELM Could use marriage, census, anything to trace the family.
