    3. Sue, Don't know if you have a photo on your PC of the stone mentioned or not but I have found that sometimes you can manipulate/enhance the image with options that come with many programs and pick up some things that seemed to be invisible to the naked eye. Just a thought Frank Sue Williams wrote: > The newer >section is better.Rev. 3. Frank, Appreciate the email. In the 1980's professionals were hired to read and restore the stone. They couldn't. It's a shame, and odd in the since that his spouse's stone is right next to his and completely legible. ( I know you're wondering what each stone is made out of......I don't have a clue.) Anyway, I was extremely fortunate to be in touch with the lady who hired the professionals in the 1980's. She had found a descendent who, in the 1930's, copied down the info from the front and the back of the stone. She very kindly shared this with me. She's a peach. Again, I thank you for your suggestion, and I know what you're saying does work. But this stone is in really bad shape. If you looked at it today, you would not know it was inscribed. I only knew 'cause I'd read about an inscription in a book. Happy searching Sue > Sue, > > Don't know if you have a photo on your PC of the stone mentioned or not > but I have found that sometimes you can manipulate/enhance the image > with options that come with many programs and pick up some things that > seemed to be invisible to the naked eye. > > Just a thought > > Frank > > > > Sue Williams wrote: > > > The newer > >section is better.Rev.
