Talkington. Lillie was born in Sangamon or Waverely Co. IL. in June 1880. When she was little, she went to live with Joseph and Sarah Kirgan of IL. I was told she had a sister Myrtle Talkington and found her living with Wiley Knowles, a minister, and his wife Ann. They are listed in the 1880 IL Sangamon Co Census in Auburn. Mrytle is 4 yrs old. Can anyone tell me if there are any church or school records for the Auburn area? I did run across a family in Sangamon Co. Auburn area that I would like to know more about. They are Jacob Talkington and wife Mary A. and their 4 children. If anyone could help me or tell me what direction to go, I would appreciate it.
