You do NOT have to own an iPod to listen. I don't. You can play them online, on your computer, your portable music player, etc. I copy them to my PDA and listen while I walk. I burn them to CDs for listening when I am in the car. A friend with an iPod listens on the subway on the way to work. Sometimes they are not subjects of major interest but I always learn something.
