I have a Reeves girl who married an Irwin before the 1850 census so her name doesn't show up on a Federal Census. I don't know her husband's name and I'm not really sure of her 1st name. Ailsey, daughter of Alexander Reeves and Effie Cummins of Gardner Twp in Sangamon Co., was widowed or divorced by the time of her father's property was sold in 1864 and was listed as Ailsey Irwin. Ailsey may have been named for her grandmother Alice "Alsey" Jones so perhaps her first name was also Alice. Or Elsie or Elizabeth, etc, etc,etc. Do any of you Irwin researchers have an Irwin man in your records who married before 1850 and died or divorced in Illinois before Feb. 1864? Thanks, Carole
