Why do I find my RootsWeb WorldConnect file in the Ancestry World Tree? The Ancestry World Tree database nearly doubled in size through the combination with WorldConnect, a similar project hosted by RootsWeb. With this merge there has been some duplication of files for users who had submitted to both the Ancestry World Tree and WorldConnect. Online Family Tree is not free now and never has been. The issue I have with it is it creates a family tree on its own which often has errors in it and there are no source citations. I have not uploaded to rootsweb and don't plan to. I think the best way to share information is through message boards or mailing lists.
