I see that they were married in 1840, in Sangamon County, Illinois. I will be gong there Thursday and Friday and I can see if there is a marriage license on file that might list the parents of Ann Alsbury. I have tried to locate the cemetery in Maxwell Township, close to the Waverly-New Berlin blacktop, but have been unable to find it. I do know that in order to buried in the Hodgerson cemetery you had to be directly related to the Hodgerson family, and I know that Charles and Jane are supposed to be buried close to John and Ann.
