I am hoping to contact descendants of James A. Smith b. abt 1838 in Bloomington, McLean, Illinois m. Martha Drennan [b. 1842 in Chatham, Sangamon, Illinois] April 23, 1864 in Sangamon Co., Illinois. I have recently received some pension application papers from the step-mother of Martha and there are some affidavits from James and Martha. Glad to share my information. Right now all I know is that they had a son named George E. b. abt 1870. Thanks Bob Drennan
