My great-grandfather was James Frame BROWN, b. 29 Dec. 1891 in Streator, IL. His parents were Alexander BROWN (b. 1 Oct 1856 in Lesmahagow, Lanarkshire, Scotland) and Isabella Ferguson FRAME (b. 2 Aug 1870 in Stonehouse, Lanarkshire, Scotland). Eventually they moved to Thayer, where James's daughter (my grandmother) was born. James and his wife Josephine GALLETTO had 11 children, and about four are still alive.
