I just looked for the three counties as there were Wilseys in just about every IL Co on the CD. I don't know my IL counties well enough to know who neighbors whom. The 1860 only had Nancy and Peter in Appanoose Twp., Hancock Co. p 578. Most with this surname seemed to be Pike, Kendall & LaSalle Counties. I also checked 1850 & 1840, found none. As long as I was in the CDs for Knotts I found in 1840 Sangamon Alvin & Ellen p. 058 both heads of household in Sangamon Co. 1850 had Albrin 148, Joseph 109 & Thomas 148. I couldn't locate any in Hancock or Christian. Hope this helps, but would have been better if I had the first name of Sylvia's father, but suppose that's what you were looking for!
