Looking for any info on Sangamon families of: Thomas Smotherman was guardian of Mary E. Mays, Macoupin probate box 52-G, about 1885 (?). Thomas and Ellen Moye had son Jesse M., b. 1859, Ganesville (?). Jesse/Jessie M. and Mary A. McKinney had son Walter, b. 1887, Athens. Walter and his father Jesse were both coal miners in Sangamon. Walter was killed in mine in Springfield, Sangamon about 1910. Walter and Nora Elizabeth Hurley had son Jesse Daniel, b. June 23, 1909, Springfield, Sangamon. Nora moved from Sangamon to Lincoln where she married Alfred Money, had son Ray Money, Nora died in 1968. Need obits! Maude Mae Smitherman married Harry Edison Oliver and they had two children born in Sangamon. Merle Franklin, 1907 and Ethel G., 1909. TIA.
