Her mother,my g,g,g,grandmother Abigail Wright lived with them during the 1860's & died in their home on 26 Oct. 1871 in Springfield. He is listed in the city directory as being a weight engineer for the City of Springfield. I have census info on most of the Sutton's that lived in Sangamon Co. The original family came from Cape May, Cape May Co.,NJ abt 1830 to 1835. It appears they came with the Ebenzer Preston family,& the Tomlin family. I notice that there are many families in the Early Settler's of Sangamon Co., by Power that are from Cape May. I would be happy to share info if you would be interested or with anyone else who is researching these families.--Carol
