Hey Cheryl, where did you read the review for Mildred's book? I would like to read it. Being from Illiopolis, I have known Mildred Kilhoffer for years. She told me this summer she was writing a book. She only told me Salt Creek and I assumed it was in our area. I will have to buy it. I am anxious to see the book, so will write to her. Her family sure bought a lot of Illiopolis History Books and are well represented in it, too. Which leads me to the fact that we are still accepting commitments order for a reprint of "150 Year Reminiscence, Illiopolis 1856-2006". We are trying to get 100 to commit before we reprint. We are have 69 now! So if anyone is interested this might be your last chance to get the book, as I doubt if it will be reprinted soon, might be 50 years next time. All we need now is a commitment, no monies. Can mail to Illiopolis SQ P. O. Box 225 Illiopolis, IL 62539 or call 217-486-3011. The book is 8.5 x 11,480 pages, hard-bound and indexed and is selling for $40. If mailed $45. At 12:47 PM 1/8/2007, you wrote: >Here's a book which might interest some of you.
