The Sangamon County Genealogical Society invites every to join us on Saturday December 9 from 9 am to 1 pm for a multi-county publication sale and research day to be held at the society office. All of the Sangamon County publications will be available to purchase as well as those from Logan County. Additionally, members of the society's board will be on hand to answer research questions and the library will be available to those who wish to research their family's history. We have microfilmed copies of Sangamon County birth (1877-1916), marriage (1821-1925) and death certificates (1877-1940s) available to view as well as surname and obituary files and the Auburn Citizen on microfilm (1874-1964). Come peruse our well rounded selection of Sangamon and Logan County publications for that special family researcher's 2006 Christmas present.
