What I know: Jefferson Aikman, DOB (?) married Jessie Louise TRIBBEY on 4 Sept 1906 Rochester IL. 1910 Census for Sangamon County, Rochester Township lists Jefferson AIKMAN, age 28, born IL as were both parents; married 3 yr with 3 children. City Directory for Springfield lists Jefferson AIKMAN working for CP&St Louis RR as trackman. 1920 Census for Sangamon County, Rochester Township lists: Jefferson AIKMAN and Jessie (TRIBBEY)AIKMAN with 9 children, my mother Margaret Maxine AIKMAN, DOB 2 DEC 1919, DOD 13 AUG 2000, the last child of this marriage. Jefferson AIKMAN and Jessie Louise (TRIBBEY) were divorced 29 June 1920. Nothing from the 1930 Census. Where did he go after June 1920?? Any help will be appreciated. L. Sifford [email protected]
