Hello all. This Wednesday evening the SCGS Office Library will be closed. We will be open throughout March on Wednesday nights from 5:30 to 9:00 as usual. On Saturday, March 19, we will be hosting an Open House/Research Day from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. at the Sangamon County Genealogical Society Office, 2856 South 11th St., Springfield. Stop by and take a chance at the Spring into Research Basket raffle. Our publications will also be available for sale throughout the day free of shipping fees to those in attendance, you can peruse our treasure trove of research materials and join in the lively conversations about genealogy in Sangamon County.
