TRAVERSE CITY - Mary Angela Maurer, wife of Henry Maurer, mother of Hank maurer, Joe Maurer and Ann Syverson, died Saturday February 12, 2005 at Grand Traverse Pavilions. She would have been 95 year4s old on March 29, 2005 She was born in SPRINGFIELD, ILLINOIS and lived thre until she was married. She moved to Michigan with heer husband and lived in Detroit until 1945. The family bought a cherry orchard at Cherry Bend in Traverse City, where she lived the rest of her life. She is survived by her children, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Covell Funeral Home in Traverse City on Monday, Feb. 21, 2005 at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Immaculate Conception Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Covell Funeral Home in Traverse City. I have no affiliation with this family. . .
