Obituary - Illinois State Journal, Springfield, Illinois, 19 June 1964 MRS. LUELLA M. DOWLLAR Mrs. Luella Mae Dowllar, 60, of 2600 S. Pasfield St., died at 7:10 a.m. today at St. John's Hospital. She had been in failing health the last four months. Mrs. Dowllar was born in Riverton, the daughter of Clarence and Alice C. Fox Hamilton. She was a resident of Springfield the last 43 years. She was married to John Dowllar, who preceded her in death March 20, 1952. She also was preceded in death by two sons, Clarence, who died 28 years ago, and John Robert, who died Dec. 25, 1955, and one daughter, Mrs. Alice Mae Goodall, who died last Feb. 19. Mrs. Dowllar is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Mary Hughes of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Mrs. Vera Creason and Mrs. Elizabeth Simmons, both of Springfield. And Mrs. Edith Teubner of Decatur; one son, Arthur Dowllar of Springfield; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Aloysius Church. Rt. Rev. Msgr. A. J. Bertman will officiate and burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery. Staab Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
