Their parents had died in Ireland. They lived in New York City (Brooklyn?). James and his family later moved to Western New York near Pavilion. I have fairly complete information on his family and descendants, but have nothing on the brothers and sister, so I'm seeking information on them and their descendants. The name may have been spelled Purfield. I know of no connection to Sangamon County, Il.
