Joshua b. 1753 in James City county, Virginia, was a great Baptist preacher from Kentucky and Virginia. In a book," The Ancestry of Grafton Johnson," it states; During this period (1776?) occurred the first marriage of Joshua Morris to Lucy, whose last name is undetermined, for in his bethumbed old Bilbe bound in calfskin, owned by his great-grandson, Lincoln Dubois, of Springfield, Illinois, the year of their daughter Mary is set down in his own handwritting as 1777. I would like more information on Lincoln Dubois family connection.
