Under the new mailing list software emails sent to multiple addresses get bounced. So if you send a message to this list and three others it gets bounced. It's an anti spam thing. For those of us who send announcements to several lists it is a pain...but one that will not be changing. Many administrators will not individually check the bounces and they will never make it to the lists. I am not in the habit of checking bounces since invariably they are spam. At the moment I am checking periodically because of the new software. If you send send u neannouncement messages adjust your habits to fit the new software. This also applies to the multi list attempts to subscribe and unsubscribe... It seems like a good time to also mention that if you get a new email address you need to unsubscribe from your lists using the old email address and resubscribe using the new email address -- one list at a time. Yes, I know. It does no good to send a message to the list giving your new email address. You can go to http://passwordcentral.rootsweb.com/ to find out what lists you are subscribed to. It would be nice if there was a central location to tend to all your subscriptions at Rootsweb but, at the moment, there isn't. Cheryl Rothwell
