Obituary - Athens Free Press, 2 March 1951 ARTHUR D. CLINE, 71 DIES; WIDELY KNOWN RETIRED FARMER ILL MANY MONTHS Arthur D. Cline, 71, died at 1:05 a.m. Sunday at his home following a long illness. Mr. Cline was born March 22, 1879, a son of John Newton and Dulcina Primm Cline. He had been a farmer in the Athens area until his retirement in 1943 when he moved to Athens. Survivors are his wife, Minnie; three sons, Paul, of Williamsville, Lawrence of Athens, and Robert of R.R. Greenview; a daughter, Mrs. Louise Cole, Springfield; a brother, B. H. Cline of Athens; and 10 grandchildren. Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Mott and Son Funeral Home, Athens. Rev. J. W. Armstrong officiated and burial was made in Indian Point cemetery.
