    2. Obituary - Athens Free Press, 20 December 1963 MRS. OLIVE M. CANTRALL, 72, LIFELONG CITY RESIDENT, DIES AFTER LONGTIME ILLNESS Mrs. Olive Mott Cantrall, 72, a lifetime resident of Athens, passed away at 3:58 a.m. Monday, December 16, after an illness of many months. She had been a hospital patient at various times the last few years, and for about three weeks prior to her death. She was married to the late Samuel Cantrall January 2, 1934, and he preceded her in death, passing away June 14, 1950. She was the daughter of Allen and Delia Cresse Mott, and had been a resident of the Athens community her entire lifetime. She was a member of the Athens Methodist Church, Dorcas Class, and WSCS. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Mary VanWormer, Mrs. Helen Culver, and Miss Ila Mott, all of Athens; one brother, Harold C. Mott, Athens; two step-daughters, Mrs. Lois Reinders and Mrs. Hazel Estill, both of Springfield; one stepson, Henry Cantrall of Athens; and two nephews, Edward H. Culver of Springfield and Allen Culver of Athens. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Mott and Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Phil Pierce, pastor of the church of her choice, conducting the service. Interment was made in Hall cemetery.
