Obituary - Athens Free Press, 23 August 1957 FUNERAL OF CLARA E. GRANT HELD HERE TUESDAY, SEPT. 20 Mrs. Clara E. Grant, 74, of Easton, died suddenly at 3:45 p.m. Saturday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wilma Mangold, of near Auburn. Mrs. Grant was born April 28, 1883, near Cantrall, a daughter of Henry and Mary Price England. She married Dr. W. R. Grant, who died in 1921. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Mangold; a son, Dr. Harry Grant, Springfield; five grandchildren; one brother, William England, R.R. 5 Springfield; and a sister, Mrs. Gladys Flagg, Sherman. The remains were taken to Mott and Son Funeral Home, Athens, where services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. with Rev. William Laughlin officiating. Burial was made in Indian Point cemetery.
