Obituary - Athens Free Press, 14 June 1963 MRS. WILLIAM ENGLAND, 83, RESIDENT OF WIGGINS AREA, DIED FRIDAY, JUNE 7 Mrs. Pearl England, 83, wife of William P. England, a resident of the Wiggins community, died Friday, June 7, at Memorial Hospital. Surviving are her husband, William P.; a daughter, Mrs. Frances Schott of Peru; a son, Dale of Springfield; and a brother, Earl Grant of Athens. She was born in Menard County, and was preceded in death by three children, Mildred, Lyle, and Nellie. Funeral services were held from the Mott and Son Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, with Rev. Charles Embree, of the Christian Church, in charge. Interment was made in Brittin cemetery, southeast of Cantrall.
