I found out that my gg grandfather Chris Neal was born out of wedlock to Alsie Neal in about 1881. I know the 1890 census was destroyed by a fire. Who or where can I go to find maybe birth records, census records to verify this. I know Kathleen helped me with records of my relative Chris Neal (son of Alsie) on a previous message.
