(Francis Marion) Jackson, was born May 1829 in IL - according to his death certificate, in Sand Mountain, IL. Since his first child was named William Francis Marion, I believe that his father could have been named William. Can anyone help me locate the county where Sand Mountain is located? Also, any bit of info you have on the Jacksons in IL will be most appreciated.
