She was born December 6, 1930 in Springfield, IL and lived in California since 1936. In 1948 she married Doyle Ray Foster. They moved to San Bernardino County in 1953 where they raised their five children. Dolores was a loving and devoted wife and mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She assisted her husband in running his business and participated in many social and charitable activities, including Rainbow Girls, Cub Scouts, Little League, Pop Warner, Republican Women’s club and the hospital volunteer organizations at both Kaiser Permanente and Loma Linda Hospital. She was a member of Sunrise Church in Rialto, CA. Dolores was predeceased by her husband, Doyle Ray Foster in 1993, and by her son, Doyle Ray Foster, Jr. in 2001. She is survived by her daughters and their husbands: Sherrie and Jim Carmean of Fontana, CA, Raenelle and Gil Bristley of Fontana, Jane and Dwayne Atkins of Moreno Valley, CA and Debbie and Greg Wilhite of San Bernardino. She also leaves nine grandchildren and their spouses, Carrie and Heath Pennybaker, Keith Horton and Noemi, Chris and Tiffany Carmean, Mathew Carmean, James and Kathy Atkins, Melinda and Tony Carbo, Megan Atkins, Dondee and Jeff Sittisuphachoke, and Amanda Henriksen. Great grandchildren include Samatha and Justin Horton, Kylie Carmean, Katrina and Tyler Sittisuphachoke and Kayla and Kelsey Pennybaker. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, including Slick and Pauline Shadle, Maralee Shadle, Dan and Atephanie Shadle, Mereta and Derl Brown, Susie and John Berman, Georgia and Shelby Creager and many others too numerous to mentio! n. Dolores was beloved by all who knew her for her kindness and generous spirit, her moral and ethical strength and her wonderful sense of humor. She will be missed more than she could have imagined. Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 9, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. followed by Chapel Service at 12 noon, both at Green Acres Chapel. Interment: Green Acres Memorial Park..
