Hello all. I thought I would mention that the Sangamon Valley Collection is now limiting the hours that they are open due to staff shortages. They are not open during the Labor Day holiday but will be open again on Tuesday. Just be sure to call ahead to see what hours they will be open. 217-753-4910 The society office library is open on Wednesday nights from 5:00 to 9:00 pm, but if no one shows up by 8:00 I will close for the evening. Our number and address are mentioned below. The building is located on the corner of 11th and Knox which is about three blocks north of Stevenson Drive.
