(Stephen England was the brother of my gg grandfather David England b. 1778.) I know my grandmother came across the plains in a covered wagon when she was a young girl from Bath County, Kentucky to the Sangamon Co., Illinois area. I think maybe mid to late 1870's or early 1880? or so--not sure when. I would like to know about that trip if anyone has information--I have none. All I know is my grandmother was a young girl. I had no idea who the ancestors of the first David England were. Great information! Here's my direct line: David England (b. 1754-Revolutionary War Soldier) and Lucy Hodges b. 1757 (my ggg Grandparents) David England (b. 1778) and Mary Jane ??--I think maybe Lynam? gg grandparents Andrew Jackson England (b. 1836--Civil War Soldier) and Margaret M.
