So, you are a Ridgeway? I have a lot of information on Ausburn Ridgeway, the father of Edward, (who married Ann Cantrall.) Edward's sister, Mary Ridgeway, married Ann's brother, Stephen L. Cantrall. Hope you're not too confused now! Stephen and Mary had a daughter Fanny, who married George Reed PROVIN. George's daughter, Sarah married John NORTH and they were the parents of my great-grandmother, Fanny North. I have a copy of Ausburn Ridgeway's will that I could send you, along with my family line. Do you have any information on Stephen Cantrall? He and Mary Ridgeway split after the birth of three children and, according to Ausburn's will, was not thought well of by Ausburn. I don't have a lot of information on Edward and Ann....only one daughter, Nancy. I also have a copy of David England's will, proved in 1801, and could send that also. Take care, Kaylynn
I have the 1850 Sangamon county IL census that lists a Fanny CANTRELL (age 15) and a Geo Cantrell (age 11) living with Jane RIDGDEWAY age 63 These were added (Phelps) (Mrs. Ausburn) I am adding this. This looks like an old Hand typed census with notes added by the typist. Are thesse the children of Mary Ridgaeway Cantrell? Who are living with their grandmother?
