The Sangamon County Genealogical Society will meet Monday January 10 at 7:00 P. M. in the Carnegie Room South of Springfield's Lincoln Library (the public library) unless the weather is bad. The speaker for the meeting will be President Dan Dixon whose topic will be Tombstone Tales: Auburn Township Cemeteries through photographs. In addition to the meeting, we will also be installing the 2005 Board of Directors. Members and the public are always Welcome to attend our meetings. We will have no meeting in February and the March meeting will be an Open House/Research Day which will be announced in a future emailing.
