    3. Hi: Just this afternoon returned from Springfield and looked at my mail. That is a WONDERFUL photo - wish I knew what my ancestors looked like back then to identify them in the picture! At first I thought it was taken in the State House, but with all the brick walls and 'road' decided it could be the Abe Lincoln train depot. You can see the brick walls and in front of the first row of folks there is brick. The posts and intricate detail on them, reminds me of the depot. Sure wish I had seen this before I went up there, I'd have checked it out! haha. Sorry. I'm sure someone there in Spfld. could drive down-town and check the depot out - altho' the brick platform was concreted probably about 40-50 yrs. ago. Do any of the pictures have names on the back? Since I and my family are orginally from Spfld., I would be interested in knowing. As I said, I don't have many pictures of them so wouldn't know them if I saw them! Your "pay-load" sounds great! Good luck Marilyn - Clearwater, Fl Walter Gaddis wrote: > . One of the photos is a large > photo of what seems to be some sort of town event.
