In the 1850 Sangamon County census they are enumerated with T.G. Taylor, attorney at law, and his family. Elizabeth is reported as being 24 and William is 2 years old. Elizabeth married Rinaldo Hatfield in 1856 and is enumerated with him in 1860 and 1870, but William is not with them in either year. I have found no death record for a William Menary in Sangamon County or anywhere Elizabeth lived after her marriage. If anyone has any information about any of these people, I'd love to hear from you. Thanks!!
