With more research and information I was able to piece together that my John Taylor b. Jan 1856 and the John E. Taylor son of Isaac Taylor were not one and the same man. I believe John E. was born almost 10 years later so now armed with that knowledge I can go forward in to Hamilton Co. IL and search for the right parents of John Taylor.
