YOUNG. He was married to Henrietta "Jetty" LUNING in Menard County Illinios on March 2, 1893. They had one known daughter named Anna who married a man with the last name of WILLIAMS. and five known sons Otto, Walter, Henry, Harry and Carl. He died several years before his wife. She died on October 27, 1848. Their last name was "Americanized" from JUNG to YOUNG at some point. I believe that they lived in the Springfield-Cantrell area in Sangemon County Illinois most of their lives. Any information would be appreciated. Spelling of names may vary. Thanks in advance. Hi Jackie, I know that you've been searching for this info for some time. It's easy to find. Harmon Jung mar. H. Luning on 2/Mar 1893 in Cantral, Menard Co IL. That's that info is available on the internet. So send to The Menard Co Courthouse along with one dollar and you'll receive their marriage license which is loaded with info. You can also send for Harmon Jung's death cert. By this time he's going by the name, Herman H Young. He died in Montgomery Co. The cert # is 0047001. You can also send for Anna C L Young's delayed birth cert. More info there. Anna's obit can be ordered from Lincoln Library in Spfld. Etc. May I offer a piece of advice? This is meant in the friendliest way possible......in your query you said he had one "known" dau. who married a Williams. You're stating this as documented fact. But you only know it because you've heard it "word of mouth".(Although, this is true. ) Genealogists must document all facts, or we lose our credibility.
