    2. Linda, You did not tell me about Cheri Logan, I looked at Searchfamily.com and found that she had submitted the info about William John Cassidy and Jenny Shutters. She has William John's father as a John Cassidy whom married a Mary Bowling, I believe and I was wondering where she got her infomation. I thought my William Cassidy married Jenny Shutters and just wanted to clarify things before I gave you any infomation that would lead you astray. Now I'm very confused. Brandi

    3. Brandi--Let me clarify what I said about Cherie being related to many people. She indicated to me that many of her family migrated through and some settled in Sangamon Co. so she is related to many people. This lady has given me some valuable information about my family, but her time is limited because she has a large family. Very nice person Linda

    3. Brandi--Cherie Logan IS a relative, but says she is related to everyone or nearly. Anyway, she is worth a contact and seems very nice. 3. Posted on: Sangamon County, Il Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Il/Sangamon/1698 Surname: COADY, HOLLAND, POPPY, GRAEFF ------------------------- Hi Pat and Micki, Micki, I'm not sure that I ever saw your post before this one responding to my answer of Jun 1999. So, in answer to your question, yes I am researching the same line. It is a cousin of mine's. So, I don't actually spend much time on it. I'm just trying to help her out. What I have between what my cousin and Carol Coady sent to put this family together is the following: Michael Coady m. ? children: Michael N Coady (1864-1922), Martin Coady and James Coady. Then Michael N Coady (1864-1922) m. Ellen Waters (1866-1926) children: John Coady (The following seems to be an extra generation from what Micki had posted back in Jun 1999) John Coady (b. ?, d. ?) m. Tillie (1899-1998) children: James, Michael, Ann (1896-1978), Mary, Nell (?-1953), Alice, Francis Aloysius (1902-1949) Francis Aloysius Coady (1902-1949) m. Esther Ruth Poppy (1903-1949) children: Francis Aloysius II (1930-1976), James Michael (1932-?) On the Poppy's, Pat, I had the same thing you have except I was not aware of little Frank. I don't have anything beyond the names you gave though. On the Holland's, I have only James Holland (?-1959) m. Rose Elizabeth Poppy (1894-1987) children: Leonard Holland m. Patty Pat, is Leonard your father George Leonard? If so, do you know who Patty may have been since you said your mother's name is Kathryn Jane McGill. I do have a question regarding James Delong m. Elsie Poppy. I found a James Delong living with John and Caroline (Delong) Graeff in the 1870 Northumberland County, PA census. Is this the same James Delong? A portion of the Graeff family later moved to Springfield. This is my grandmother's family.

It is with great sorrow that friends today learn of the death of Mrs. Anna RIDDICK, which occurred at 10:30 o'clock this morning at the family home, 2065 Vine Street, after an illness of about two years from complications.
